Many of you may remember the awesome transport story of a sweet black and tan rescued in Georgia and transported to Washington state to live with Dauber and Chrissie and Bruce. His name was Cody and he lived the life with his family. He was diagnosed with a horrible immune mediated disorder - he had no blood platelets in his system. It came on very quickly, was taken to the vet immediatly and given a 50/50 chance. Everything that could be done was, and very early this morning he got sick and bled out. He was released to the Bridge this morning about 8:30 by his loving family. He was only 7 yrs old..... They are devastated to say the least. Please keep them in your thoughts. Godspeed sweet Cody.....

We are so very sorry to hear Cody has left for the Bridge so soon. Bless his family for giving him so much love and happiness with them and God speed, little fellow. You´ll be sorely missed but in good company up there at the Bridge.
I got that email too and couldn't believe what I was reading. He was so young and boy could he sing! Our hearts go out to Chris and Bruce.

Cody had a short run of it, but it was QUALITY and that's what counts. Sympathy to Chrissie and Bruce.
