Hey Guys: It's snowing here in Northern Illinois! If I heard right a few minutes ago the local weather said we're supposed to get up to 6 inches today and up to 10 inches tomorrow! :pray:
We have light flurries right now, but it is supposed to intensify this afternoon, and this evening. We are predicted to receive up to 12" by tomorrow morning, and then the 35-50 mph winds come in. They are issuing Blizzard Warnings, and say that this is the harshest storm that Iowa has had for 3 years. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow! Sophie likes the snow (she says that she is part SIBERIAN longhaired dachshund), but Sam prefers dry conditions. But sometimes, one MUST go bark at the Vizla or the Pomerainians! I guess Christmas is really just around the corner! It's very cold here but no snow. As pretty as it is I'll take 70 degrees and watch the snow on tv! :thumb: Hallie used to love the snow like Sophie but she says she "grew out of it". :angel4:
dis is Parker: 6inches of snow is nothin. Here in Canada, in da snow belt we can get 6 inches of dat white stuff in 30 minutes. Sometimes we gets 4 feets of snow over da night. Dat is weally neat, and Momma and Daddy stay homes and digs out. Daddy always gets a sore back. Last year we gots 4 feets of snow over da night while we were sweeping. I didn't has to go outside in da morning, but stwaight down to da basement to use da pee pads dat Momma has for mergencies.
