We had our first snow on Saturday. I snapped off this sequence of piccys.
Zeke cautiously and curiously heads out while Zora looks on.

Last shot...heading back in...fast! A little blurry, but I think the point is conveyed.

Poor wee things, cold and wet. Our pair have neaver seen snow ..................yet.
Keep warm
Roberta
Poor babies. Maybe they need a sweater on when they go out into the brrrrrrrr cold.
LOL oh my...I'm not sure whether it is polite to laugh or not! He looks so defeated and Zora looks like, well ya dummy why'd you go out in that stuff!
Zeke & Zora need to file a formal complaint with the management. Where is the barrister...the right, honorable...Leaky?
Their humans are at fault for not shoveling the white, cold and wet stuff off of the deck prior to inviting them to u"do their business" ..oh, the horror...
Judy, who never ever sets a paw outside if it is raining or snowing.
I like the pic with Zora's foot up in the air...like, "where do I step?"
I'm wif Zeke and Zora I will not let my cute little feet touch that hite junk. Mama said I had to go outside dis morning and I looked at her and said,
"If you go out in bare feet I will." she wouldn't.
I did twy to go down da wamp, but it didn't work. I'm snuggling under the blankie all day deal wif it.
wuv Danni
Marcia here - When I put Danni out b4 bedtime it had started to snow and she just stood on the porch and watched. Then this morning she did go down the ramp, but immediately turned around and came in. Puppy pads are the order of the day.
My guys all LOVE the snow! They hate the rain, but get all frisky and crazy, running around - Murphy is done after about 5 minutes, but the longhairs will stay out for about an hour before they're ready to go in!
AWWW! But at least they went out. It always amazes me the this breed is a german breed. I guess it's been so long ago, their genes don't remember!!!
Although, I have one of each. Elli doesn't like even getting her paws wet and being one year old and living in Texas, hasn't seen snow yet. Gretchen, on the other hand, will go out in any weather. I've even had to call her in during lightening/thunder storms. We've been to field trials where we humans are so covered up, you can barely see our faces and she'll find a body of water and go swimming! We're cold in our layers of clothes, gloves, hats, earmuffs and her little black head is just bobbing in that water!

Th... th... th... this is Dr. Leaky here. Sorry, I can't help right now. Auntie Karen has me banished to the doggie yard during the day. She says marking inside is verboten, but Merlin and I just can't seem to help ourselves!
As soon as i thaw out, I'll be on the case!
