Just found a photo of him I had kept.

Is this cute little Longfellow from Almost Home Dachshund Rescue? I have been following his story on the website. I am always disappointed to see that he has not been adopted.
Jerri, adopted this "little man" in 2007 an absolute stunner. A standard longhair.

He's doing very well! He and Boonie are best friends--you can usually find them together! Skeeter only wants Daddy.
Fella became a bit of a handful. He like to tear clothes off people. He tore our neighbor's shorts, and a couple months ago tore our friend's sweater. I now muzzle him around others because I can't afford to replace the whole world's wardrobe! Other than that he is sweet and funny! Here's a pic with his brudder, Boone.
I don't check Wiener Writings often--been busy, busy, busy. Kevin checks in now and again and caught your post!

goodness, THEN what does he do?
He still looks so sweet and happy, now with very confident face! :thumb:
He does look like a dachsie Hannibal Lechter. "I once had a census taker come by. I ripped off his pants and ate them with a fine water bowl and a side of milk bones"
I wonder if Boonie sticks to Longfellow because Longfellow's senses (especially hearing, since Boonie is deaf, IIRC) are much sharper than his. Boonie is a dog using Longfellow as his own seeing eye dog.
That's what we need to do to Bandit and Jade. They are so naughty around people they don't know. Its a nightmare! I'm glad Longfellow looks so happy and well. Bless you for taking him in!!
