This mornings Amy is in automatic pilot, "I must be unser my blankie........totally" it's 730AM and its hitting 90 F already :BangHead: :BangHead: I managed after some negotiation to swapped blankie for a sheet.
Her other thing she has always done and none of our others have done it, is go girlies (thats what we call piddle), then turn round and check it out by sniffing. Any one else do this.

Patches sniffs Buddy's,Buddy sniffs Patches (Piddle)then they try to (piddle) on top of each others normal dog behavior.A long time ago I would pupper sit a friends dog was really funny to watch everyone would try to outdo each other the first day not sure where the extra (piddle) is stored though.
Well, yes! The boys have to pee on the girls' spots, and the girls always sniff their own, right away - ?? to make sure it is their own and no other female peed there?? I figure the boys are peeing to cover up the fact that there are ladies in the pack, huh?

LOL Amy is one of a kind. Hallie doesn't sniff her spot but when we use the poopatorium (insert angelic trumpet sound effect here! We love that thing!!) she tries to cover her pee and poop both with her nose. I think it's because she is so housebroken adn still not sure it's ok to go in there even though Mom keeps telling her it is...when my cousins little dog came in last week and peed on her bed :confused: she tried to cover that with her nose too so I figure that is the same reason she does it in the poopatorium.

I wik to smell poo too, but Mamma says NO PARKER, that's disgusting.
Sometime when my Momma and Daddy are at work, I poo, den I recycle it. Den Mom puts sprinkles in my food. YUM
Millie checks out her own pee too. I always thought it was because she was intact and she was checking her "status", so to speak. Murphy tries to pee on both girls WHILE they are peeing (luckily he's got such short legs, he can't get any height on his piddles!)-you should see him rush over to mark that ultra fresh spot. You'd never guess Murph was neutered at six months old-he sure doesn't behave like it!
