I'm going to pull this one from a pound tomorrow.
I need a name for him.
I'm thinking Wilhelm as a name

A fine German name. Here's some I thought of
Wendall
Wingding
Wally
Wolfgang
Harry
(silly, aren't I?)
Wil is a fine name my friend had a staffie bull named Willum and he went by Wil.
He looks like a dignified gentleman. Wilhelm suits him. I wonder what he will think of the two little terrors that you have at home now? Ms. Lucy must be beside herself having to put up with the foolishness of pups!
He reminds me of Willie Nelson, so i would go with Nelson.
Oh my Goodness! I think I could be in love ....... eLlIe
Poor little mite, he looks like it´s a long time since someone cared about him and his coat and nails. Such a gorgeous head and coat too. Bless you for taking him in, he´s going to love being with you.
I think he could easily be a Rufus or a Fritz.
I like Wilhelm... but I like Winston better! :) What a sweet face.....
How about Sir Frank Von Furter!!! :2funny:
Darcel
I like Winston....but then of course I am partial to that name...haha....he looks soooo sweet!

We have a winner! I like that one but alas....I named him Wilhelm when I took him to the vet.
This was a good pull, he is a sweet dog, I leashed him up, opened the truck door and he hopped right in. Stuck his head out the window (leashed of course) and wagged his tail the all the way to the vets office. He's a very distinguished little dog, gonna make someone a great dog for sure.
Animal Control said that Wilhelm is a surrender from a backyard breeder, they surrendered him because they couldn't get his AKC papers so he wasn't worth breeding. I hate people like that.
I don't think I'll tag him DRNA just yet, my vet wants a Dachshund for her mothers boyfriend so I think I''ll pay his vetting, get him healthy and in good shape and then let my vet take Wilhelm to the boyfriend and see what he says. Considering that my vet keeps a close eye on her mother and the boyfriend I'm pretty sure the dog will be well cared for.
he sounds like a great dog with a great name and a great future ahead of him. I am with you on hating people that could do that to him. Obviously dogs to people like that are just a means of easy money to them and nothing more. I don't get it.
