Title: Question of the day
Post by: Roberta on October 26, 2009, 02:27:09 PM
Do you ever manage to go to the toilet or bathroom WITHOUT an entourage...........................

Sometimes but not always! If one of us leaves the bathroom door open 1 or 2 will wander in to see what we're doing.

Go to the bathroom by ones self surely you jest. You know about the secret door that is in every ones bathroom the Fur Kids think you will escape without them so they have to to keep a eye on you.Plus they do not want you to fall in the toilet or bathtub and drown they are there for your security at all times. It really fun when you have a full size male Doberman escort you and you bathroom is about 10x4feet,they manage to all fit. In if you do the unthinkable like shutting the door the lay out side the door snuffling to make sure you did not sneak out the secret door.papbouv

I cannot tell you the last time I have been alone in my bathroom.  If if shut the door, the whining makes me feel guilty and drives me nuts.  I also shudder to think what damage they are doing outside the door to get back at me.  Once the boys get into the bathroom, they just lay on the rug and lick water off the edge of the tub (as if they do not have a fresh supply of water downstairs).  Oscar is obsessed with the laundry shute, so he hangs around to see if any dirty towels or clothes may need to go down the shute.  I guess I would be lonely without all of this "assistance" in the bathroom!

Well, I watch my dog pee and poop so I guess turn-about is fair play.

Huh?  You mean it's theoretically possible?  Well, I never get to, without 2 or 3 jumping at my knees, and usually somedog is standing on any clothing I was wearing...  I am sure it has to do with the great fear of the secret exit door, y'know!

And isn't it funny how they can all fit in a tiny bathroom, yet crowd you off the bed?  :2funny:

You mean I could close the door and go to the bathroom alone?  :thinik: What a concept! :verdict:

Parker always waits on the other side of the door. He doesn't like the floor in the bathroom. It's  ceramic.

Sam and Eddie could have cared less unless I was in the shower too long then they would sit outside the door and complain.  Danni on the other hand can't let me out of her sights for more than a  minute - she was taken away from mom too soon.  Unlike the boys Danni has an old sweater of mine as a bed in the bathroom.  Usually I have to keep the door closed because Danni steals my Crocs and carries them around the house.  My Crocs are made of the same material that one of her toys is - bad idea.

door shut and alone for "privates" whilst they sniff and cry from the outside.  Door open and every man or dachsie for himself in the shower.....if we leave the sliding glass door of the shower room open, Red hops right in there and joins in.  Islay observes from the safety of the bath mat.  Both help dry off legs and feet when we get out of the shower and particularly love body oil or lotion.

Parker youz have to get your parents to get a pedistal mat, con them by telling them it keeps there feets off da tile to, dats what we z do
Also we don't have a secret door, da window is big enough for mum to get out, also if you lean against the shower door you know they cannot go anywhere and if youz do that they cannot take you in for da baff.

Ha ha nonsense, apparently bathroom time is the best time to give me kisses and do tricks according to Fin.

He also doubles as a leg and foot towel when i get out of the shower.

At one or two must be in the bathroom with me.  They will just sit on the bath mat and watch.  If Bonita comes in, she likes to lick the floor.  And that's just gross!
