Dis is Danni, and I just woke up. Today momma went out to da store and I stayed home in my cwate and I was very good. Den when momma came home she took me out to potty but I decided to chase a butterfly, den momma called me to come in. But something awful happened - I got stung by something. I ran around and den headed to momma and cwied and cwied. Momma picked me up and held me and took me in da house, but my owie still hurt so momma called Dr Cindy and asked if she could bwing me in. They said yes and off we went. Dr Cindy looked at my paw and said I must have gotten stung so I got a shot and Dr Cindy did my last puppy shots and first rabies. We came home and I slept.
Marcia here: I am feeling better so I thought I'd , excuse me, let Danni check in. Thank goodness Dr Cindy was still at the office because I never heard Danni cry like she did when she got stung(she wouldn't let me touch her paw). She clung to me like crazy, but did let me put her in her carrier and take her to see Dr Cindy. Dr Cindy couldn't find a stinger, but did find something attached to one of her pads and when it was removed Danni was fine. I did have Dr Cindy give her her shots so we wouldn't have to make a trip oback on Monday. With nails trimmed and eight(she's 6.4 pounds) we came home and Danni went to sleep. She is feeling better now.
Sweet snuggles to Danni. So sorry about your owie.
Ouch!! I'm glad Danni is okay and I'm really happy you are feeling better too!!! We had some wasps that were burrowing in underground nests and lots of the neighbor's dogs have been getting their paws stung. Luckilly, we have a BUNCH of snow on the ground now, so I think they are gone.
Awww, poor Danni...hugs and kisses to you sweet girl...at least you got your shots over with :apls:
