Okay, so we have the Senior Weiners and the Spring Chickens. Let's hear it for the middle ages weiners. Not pups, but not oldies either. The Zs are safely ensconced in middle age weinerdom: Zora is 8, Zeke is 7
I'm guessing Mr. Wilson is about 7 or 8, don't really know for sure but I don't love him any less because I don't really know how old he is.
but he's a power house of activity
I took him to the Mid-Atlantic Dachshund Festival for the weinee dog races. We didn't win any ribbons but we got a second place, a first place and then a second place. He didn't let me down, I let him down by not training for the races, he would hesitate coming out of the gate and that was enough to get him behind. My Fault, not his, but he has real promise.

Bastian is 9, Brekke and Rowan are 8, and the vet says Robinton is 7 or 8 - so all of mine are middle-aged!

Islay was 6 on 11th September and Red will be 7 on 21st October. Both in great shape and full of energy but the odd white hair appearing in Red´s beard already.
Penny's a middle aged wiener...she'll be 7 in December (sniff...sniff...my baby is middle aged!). We have definitely noticed the white coming in on her snout and around her eyes...also on her feet as well!
Miss Buelah just turned SIX years old...
Mr. Oscar is FIVE years old....
Miss Bella is somewhere between six and eight years old.
Beatrice is just two...definate spring chicken!
Schatzi turns 6 on November 12. The only thing I've noticed with her is the length of her naps or how deep she sleeps after a long walk or lots of exercise. Otherwise, she is just as playful as ever.

We are definitely middle aged here...Zoe will be 7 yrs old on November 14th....Winston turned 5 yrs old on April 15th.
Our middle aged dachsie is Oscar. His estimated age is 8, although he seems much younger to us. Probably wishful thinking. Oscar is playful and fun, way too spunky to be middle aged!
