Sam & Eddie here - All day mom has been telling us that we were going to get a surprise this afternoon, s we couldn't wait. Then about 1/2 an hour ago Miss Sherri our groomer shows up WITH HER NAIL CLIPPERS and chops off our toes. Eddie here I gots even and peed all over the couch while she chopped off Sam's toes. Sam here Miss Sherri just held me and she cut off my toes wif no problems. Den mom gave us some Buffalo stew for dinner.
Marcia here: It truly was a trip today. I hurt my knee a couple weeks ago and other than short trips I have been home. So I called Sherri to see if she would come out and clip the boys nails for me. All was well until Eddie saw the clippers then the little stinker peed on the couch cushion right where I usually sit. I haven't used Nature's Miracle in a long time, but it sure was used today. The whole time Sam was getting his names trimmed Eddie was sitting and whining a whine I had never heard before. Sam was great until the last foot then he got antsy, but let Sherri finish in peace. Eddie just sat on Sherri's lap and refused to look at either of us - too funny. When Sherri was ready to leave the boys hid in the kitchen until the front door closed.
It's great to have a groomer that will come to the house and she even volunteered to pick Eddie up when I want his Autumn grooming done.
Dang guys - we thought that someone brought you sumpting good.......comin' to your house to chop your toes ???????? Geez....can't a doglet get any peace ?!?!?!?!?!?!

My goodness boys! Not the surprise you had in mind. I guess Mommy and the couch got the surprise! :angel4: I'll bet your feet feel better now though. What a nice groomer you have in Sherri, Marcia. I'm sorry you hurt you knee. Rest it well and get better soon! My advice is to lay one warm doxie over it for at least 2 hours a day....
