So all good things come in three's hahaha. Well this morning Mr O did his cruciate ligament in his back left leg. I'm on horsie duty (sister and mum away for 3 weeks)and did not take him as I was not in the mood for the half bath when he got back. When I got back he was acting funny and just kept sitting I thought his arthritis may have been playing up so I gave him some Medicalm. Then I checked his back feet flips, one was a bit slow, so I called the vet. They said they would get Albert (vet ) to ring me when he got back.
To make matters worse I let Nick take the 4x4 as I was not going to go out to-day and I have been told not to drive mine as the windscreen is not good. Ran my mum, and luckily she had left her car keys, so I left madam and went into the vet. His back left leg was flipping inconsistantly so he checked his hind right leg knee and it was OK, the left he was in pain. So we are taking him to Melb on monday for surgery, AlbertĀ said as he has insurance it would be betterĀ to take him to a specialist surgeon as they put in prostesis and get a better result. So we now have him in his bed caged and Amy on the outside. We will drive up mon morning for the appointment at 1130AM and he should be done in the afternoon and they will keep him overnight and we can go home on the tuesday.
At present he is very quite and I'm a bit concerned about getting him to go wee wee's, he has gone poo's but I think it sore to use.
On the cars, Nick's is a new bonnet and a small fix, mine is about a one and half week job, one even suggested what about a write off, so we will see to-morrow when the assessors look at it.

Rays and hugs to Mr. Oliver!
Lots of rays on the way...let us know !
Poor Oliver!!!!! Did he injure himself or was it something that just happened? I hope he's feeling better now.
WE are not sure how he done it, the vet says it usually happens to very active dogs.......................and Ollie is ADD (attention deficte disorder) and bounces of walls. I think it may be due to him starting to get arthritis in the right hip he may have compensated and blown it. They said its rapid change of directions ie boucing of one wall to the other..............
We head off to-morrow morning, its a 3.5 hour trip and have found a doggy friendly cabin for the night. I'll be glad to get my golden shadow back, I know it will take a few weeks. It has been funny as Amy has taken up the slack and is trotting about after me. He is in the playpen, so come dinnie time she barks and runs to him, like I'm begging for both of us. She has been a good nursie nursie.
