I love the website, http://betterwords.typepad.com/petpostcardproject/ and have sent in postcards before. For every one you send, one pound of food is donated to a shelter. Also, there are monthly prizes for the best cards, and I've won a drinkwell fountain, a petzoff blanket (which I kind of had no use for and auctioned off for Jethro) and several other spendy items. These haven't been on the site yet. If you go there and click on dachshunds, you might recognize some of my puppers. These are the new ones I've sent in. I did a total of 46, so that's 46lbs of dog food for needy dogs!
