It´s hard to believe our little Princesita Islay is six already, time goes by too quickly.
As Red and Islay love showers they had one this morning, followed by an eggstra special salmon breakfast. Today is declared a no-holds-barred smooch and play day throughout the princessdom with eggstra treats for all dachsies and teckels worldwide. Have fun, everyone, we´re off to play ball.
Islay, you are a beeeeeyoooootiful girl!!!! And now that you're six, you're a big girl too! Happy Birthday! It sounds like your mom has a wonderful day planned for you and Red. And Red ... you're a pretty good lookin' dude. And, yes ... time goes WAY too fast with these little furkids. Thanks for sharing the pictures. That is my favorite part of this board.
What beauties!! I love their matching harnesses. Happy Birthday!! :cancan:
Have a great day and hope you managed to wangle bacon with the eggies.............

Thanks, Aunty Delia, you made us blush! We had a lovely day and scored salmon and eggs, fish biscuits, pigs ears, tons of cuddles and kisses and toys and a special walk along the seafront promenade once it went dark and cooler outside. I want a birthday every day. Mum says I cant because I can´t ever get old.

Thank you! The harnesses were made by Dana of Weenie-in-the-window in the US, we loved the material and style and can´t buy harnesses here in Spain, she did a great job. They usually go naked at home and only wear the harnesses on walks but that pic was taken to send to Dana to say thanks.

Hi Aunty Roberta - no bacon (we´re in a meat-free zone here)- but we scored scrambled eggs with salmon instead. That´s really yummy AND we got huge Pigz Earz for supper. Dad has to give them to us when Mum´s not looking, she thinks they´re gross, we don´t. We love the big ones with hairs and numbers on. We told her they´re treats, not meat, so don´t count.

Thanks Aunty Barb. We had a great barkday and did exactly what I wanted to all day. Dad says we do exactly what I want to every day anyway! Not true.
Actually it´s taken me nearly six years to train my Mum and Dad. It´s been hard work and remember Red is 10 months older than me and he started training them first. These hoomums and hoodads have some funny ideas and take lots of training. Ours hadn´t even been to obedience classes!!!!

SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH girls, PLEEEZE don´t let Mum know.
Dad sneaks´em in as "special crispies" and gives them to us before Mum can smell them. He hides them in a special box at the back of our cupboard. Bit like the "sin box" of Spanish Iberian Ham he keeps at the back of the fridge and snaffles when Mum´s not around. Pigz earz don´t smell like bacon and don´t need cooking so we don´t stink out her kitchen. We don´t think she knows what we´re crunching and we hoover up the bits after too.
We get dried salmon and fish rolls and biccies the rest of the time. It´s no wonder we like showers, we´re going to grow flippers and fins any time now!

Well thank you kindly, you´ve made me blush! We had a wienerful day and are back to general spoiling again now. It´s a tough life. We get another special day next month on Red´s barkday too.
