Den da kids swarming me. Horrible. Dey fought I was cute. Dey wanted der boyfwnds to get dem puppies jus like me. :BangHead: i AM NOT A PUPPY!!!!
Den da worst part. Da bees. I didn't know dey were not for eatin. Didn't figure dat out until after I ate one and it bit back. I cwied.
Den da girls swarmed me again. gEEZ

Sammy and Oscar agree wholeheartedly! They also dislike stinging bees, cold water, and pestering children. They would rather be in their own yard digging in the dirt and hunting squirrels.
Oh No P.P.! That is not how the beach should be. We go all the time this time of year, we are going again next week with the horsies...and it is fun if you play your cards right, you can find lots of seagull doo to roll in, it's fun to squish your toes in the sand and then dig like a maniac. Then you cuddle with your momma next to some driftwood with a big blankie and watch the waves roll in and sniff in all the great beach smells. Top it off with a bonfire and weenie roast at the end of the evening, in front of a beautiful sunset. Ahhh.

Then you jes have to train your momma to keep all quickly moving kids away from you like my momma does, and DEFINITELY do not, I repeat, do NOT eat the buzzies! That is guaranteed to ruin your day.
The beach is great you just have to choose the activities that don't cause pain or dampness!

Murphy is going to get stung in the mouth one of these days too-he snaps at everything that buzzes around his head. Millie would disagree with you about that water though-she loves to swim-it absolutely amazed me the first time she went into the water and started swimming around easy as you please. Winston will go in with motivation (throw ball in water, Winston will go in...reluctantly) although he'll wade in for a drink, but Reilly and Murphy would rather DIE!

Schatzi wouldn't love the beach, I'm sure. We were there this weekend, at a small island named Fripp Island. This is a small idea of what it was like...
The island has mostly houses. At the North end there are some condos, but it is mainly just a quiet place to escape.

I don't think Schatzi would like this big "dog". The deer were everywhere and quite friendly. If you were on a golf cart and stopped, they expected food!

We did see several doxies there. One of them was a long haired. His owner had trimmed him quite a bit since he liked to play in the sand and the ocean. In the winter he gets to have his hair long again! If I had of had my camera with me, I would have taken a picture of him. Very cute!
