Zora is turning 8 today. Hard to believe how time flies. Her tan points are starting to show traces of white, but otherwise you'd never guess that she looks or acts the middle-aged dachshund.
Zora says "Who, me?"

By a remarkable coincidence, Zora has the exact same barkday as Rudy-angel. Had he lived, he would have been 17 today. Remembering the little guy who started it all.

I get that question a lot. They are pouches called "Quiet Spot". It's a neoprene pouch secured by a velcro flap that holds all their ID tags, licenses, vet into, etc. By securing them in a pouch, you don't have to hear the typical clanging of the tags bumping into each other. It also protects the tags from the elements, so that if there ever was a need for someone to get info off the tags, the tags are in good shape.

That's a great idea! Porky likes to chew his tags, so we'll have to try this product out.
HAPPY BARKDAY ZORA!! I hope you have many, many more.

Congratulations, you gorgeous girlie! Love the pictures and the expressions of both of them, what beautiful colouring they have too. The pouches are a great idea, shame they´re not available in Europe.
Have a great Barkday Zora and enjoy sharing with your handsome brother and hufamily.
Happy Birthday,Zora! Wow! Eight! How long have you had the Z's, David? I'm guessing about 5 years?
I can't believe she is 8 either. Time really does fly. Funny how the tans get the whites first, Hallie also is graying in her tan points but hardly anything on her black. Happy Birthday Zora!!! You have the cutest little face.

This October, we will have had the Zs for three years. We used to babysit for them periodically since 2002, so we've known these guys almost their entire lives.
Happy Barkday Zora!!!!
