Tonight Oscar got to do one of his very favorite things - take a shower with his Dad. Oscar loves to get into the shower. Unfortunately, we are usually hurrying to get ready for work. When he has a little extra time, Cale takes Oscar into the shower and holds him. Oscar closes his eyes while the warm water runs on his head. Then Cale washes him, which Oscar also likes. I think the scratching feels good on his body. But his very favorite part is the rinse. Cale holds Oscar, and the warm water rinses all over him. He especially likes the water running on his bald little belly. He would stay in there forever. When his shower is done, I wrap him in a towel, and he is just the cutest. I will try to get a picture next time. For now, here is a cute picture of Oscar.

When I lived by myself and kept the bathroom door open, Millie used to hop in the shower with me and just sit on the floor under the water and wait for me to be done. She seemed to really like the warm water-she's the oddest dog, I swear.
At least Oscar gets the cuddles with his daddy, so there's a reason for him to like going it!
Oscar your just like Fin!! Fin loves baths too! He will be glad to find out he isn't the only one. Last night i filled the bath a bit with cool water for him because it was so hot. And he played with his squeeky toy in there for a while, he LOVED it. Then when we took him out he kept trying to get back in. So i put him back to show him it was empty and he stood up and was looking at the tub nozzle then looking at me like "You know how to make it work, come on lady! We needs water!"

When Bonnie came to live with us, we were amazed that she literally begged to jump into the shower with whomever was showering. She loved to get right under the spray and enjoyed her scrub-a-dub. Now she isn't much into it but it was the most unusual thing, while it lasted.

If you think Oscar is cute in pictures then you should see him in real life. Gotta be the cutest weiner dog I've ever seen. He literally looks like a sausage with a head, legs and a tail.
