Some time Thursday Patches went into her daddy's room & peed on his bed ??? Guess is better than what she usually does she was pooping on his bed.Guess what hubby does he lays a towel over it and goes to bed anyway??? He did not tell me until the next morning. I have been wondering when he fell and broke his neck in May he damaged his brain he does some really dumb stuff. The hospital did take a CaT Scan of his brain nothing showed up, wondered if nothing showed up maybe that means their is nothing in there to begin with.Yes I 'm peeved with him still has not done any repairs to the house on the outside need to hire someone to do it of course,Have been trying to get 3 things done1) new garage door it is rotten wood,2) new windows rotten wood on the outside under the windows.3) the wood around the house the paint is almost all peeled off.We had US steel siding put on the house about 30 years ago its still good but he did not have the top done.?I can't get it into his head the longer he waits the more it is going to cost?We have a small house do not think it would cost a whole lot he will be surprised on the cost, I'm sure he always thinks every thing cost more than it does.Maybe Patches is trying to tell me something oh well sorry for venting but I have to vent once in awhile or go crazy.Papbouv
:dontknow: This may come as a surprise but here it is:
He's not going to get any better. He's just going to get worse. You have two choices:
1) live with the rotting wood and the peeling paint.
2) sign the house up for painting. Tell him a contractor is coming to give an estimate. Put the job in his name, introduce the conractor when he shows up and let them deal with it.
Karen
Winston pees on my bed when he's mad at me. He's a revenge pee'er. I've learned to babygate off my room when he's in a mood :2funny:
We babygate the bedrooms off too!!!! Papbouv...I agree with Karen, just call some people for estimates....maybe that will get the ball rolling :thumb:
It is ironic that someone just posted on this topic because Sammy did the same thing this weekend. On Friday evening, my husband and I were both at home. We had walked the boys and were getting ready to watch tv. I found Sammy curled up on our bed. I hugged him, but he really did not snuggle back. Then my husband noticed the pee right in the middle of our bed. There was also a little spot on the floor. He obviously did it on purpose then waited for us to find it. What is going on????

MERLIN!! :eeew: :badidea: :exactly:!
OOoO Fin too!!! Right at the end of the bed!! Last night even!! Then he doesnt come to bed with us right away, thats how i know he has done it! There was thunder and lightning last night tho.. so i thin that had something to do with it... Man these little buggers are grouping together it seems like!!
Ra'h Ro'h!
LOL I guess actions speak louder than words!
We get this occasionally, too. Usually it is when it rains and Miss Priss (that would be the small one) doesn't think her feet can get wet. There are times, however, when I think it is Molly and she is just getting old and it happens in her sleep. Last week it happened and I'm 90% sure that Schatzi wasn't even in the house (and it wasn't raining). If I could predict it, it would be a lot easier! For the longest time, I had started pulling the steps away from the bed in the mornings, but felt sorry for the one who really loved to snuggle under the covers. I think my days of sympathy have almost been used up!
Parker has been good for about 5 months, but since I have been on vacation, and the routine is changed, there are puddles appearing all over the house. Friday we had the pro shampooers come in and do the entire house. Boy did it reek. Parker is back in the xpen when unsupervised.
Dis is Parker: Momma puts me in jail. She says I been bad. I haven't been bad, I'm just pissed cause they leavin me behind and I'm sure dey going to da puppy park. Dey needs to know I don't like being home alone. :verdict: :verdict: :verdict:
I dont know if i'm relieved or depressed that this seems to be a Dashie trait....
What seems to set off the vindictive peeing? Has anyone figured out what gets their little one angry enough to start peeing all over the house?
I know what sets Parker off....Being ignored. If he isn't the centre of attention, I am pretty sure I am going to find a puddle. Negative attention is better then no attention.
Now we put a "belly band" on him when we are busy. (watching TV, entertaining guests, doing chores). It's funny, because he seems to know what coming next.....He's going to be ingored, and he resigns himself to that, and goes and lays down in his bed. It's funny that the "belly band" seems to be the cue to "Go lay down".

We babygate the bedroom and make sure doors are closed to all other rooms in our home unless we are in there. Porky is really good though, he hasn't had a single "accident" since we moved here.
Where could i find a Belly Band?
I made it out of an old flannel sheet, with velcro fastener. Don't use pins or anything you wouldn't want your dog to eat.
Look on the internet for some ideas. Just type in doggie belly band.
I don't "pad" Parker's as he will not pee when wearing it.
It's rather unsightly, but it saves me having to supervisor him, or pen him when I am home and busy.
You can find some at DRNA or petsmart, the ones on DRNA are custom made and cheaper than the ones at Petsmart. My younger boy wears one because he has a tendency to mark in the house when I am not looking. Skip the band liners though, one dribble and you'll have to wash the whole thing :doah: :verdict:, I use human incontinence pads as they hold more and I can easily change to a new one otherwise you need 2 belly bands....
