Sometimes when i walk from the living room to the bedroom (where the computer is) it may take Finnegan a second to follow me. If he isnt directly behind me and seeing me walking into the room, he sits around the corner and barks till i come get him, even though its only like two steps to come in. And then he acts so excited like i have saved him from a fate worse then death. Our hall way is like a bracket ----> [ And he stands in the long part and refuses to walk around the short side into the room! Any ideas as to why he seems to get lost in the hallway?
How about a trail of small extra fantastic treats?
 If he plays fetch, try sitting down in the long part off the hall and caroming the ball of the wall and around the corner, into the bedroom. Throw it slowly so he can see it turn the corner. Then play hide and seek around the corner. You peek at him in the long hall, and wait til he's about to make the turn, then walk into the bedroom. Lots of praise and a treat. :thumb:
Or just leave a trail of hamburger meat. He'll find you. :chairfall:

The hide and seek thing is exactly how we got Jade to figure out how to turn the corner in the hallway at my parent's house. She would follow my brother to the end and then sit there crying when he turned the corner. Once we started playing hide and seek, she figured it out. Good luck!!! Auntie Karen has some great ideas!!! :thumb:
