With heavy heart, I come to tell you that Jethro has gone to the Bridge today. His mommy was picking him up to take him for his consult to schedule surgery, probably tomorrow. She found him, his body had just given up. He had been puny for a couple days, and normally shots from the dr. helped, this time they didn't. His mom is devastated, as all of us who had the pure joy of meeting him are. Thank you to those who donated to help him. He really was a special little boy. Oh no....so much sadness with Frida and now this. I am so sorry I know his Mom put up such a fight for him. Sweet little boy. It's just not fair. :confused:

I am saddened and heartbroken to hear this news.
Too much sad news for one day. So very sorry for the loss of Captain Jethro Monkeypants. He and his family will be in our thoughts as well.

I think it would be a wonderful thing. What an honor to be named after one who fought as hard as Jethro did and was loved so much.
I am so sorry for the loss of Jethro, especially when he was so close to having surgery. The last couple of weeks have been tough around the house and the loss of Frida and now Jethro seem even harder than most. Hopefully, Porky will feel better soon and have some funny stories that will be sure to leave me laughing.
How sad.. Sorry to hear about Jethro making his way to the Bridge.. He & his momma will be in our prayers.. Hugs!

How sad that Jethro passed so soon. Now he is running free at the Bridge and no cares at all...

I am so very very sorry to hear about Jethro's passing. How tragic when this baby was so close to having his surgery. God-Speed sweet Jethro. Just tragic......Many prayers to Jethro's family and those who knew him so well.
Props to ya for even trying to save this dog. Most people would have thrown in the towel, but not you, no way, no how. You must be a fighter like Jethro. In time the pain will ease and you'll pick yourself up and start all over again, thats what fighters do. Welcome to the club. Fight Club, there are no loosers, just fighters!
