Yesterday afternoon was tragic... I think we are all still in shock over what happened... Here is the news story:
A weekend accident leaves three dead near the Wyoming border.
At approximately 4:18 PM on Sunday, Idaho State Police responded to U.S. 89 near Geneva for a one vehicle roll-over crash. 18-year-old Sarah Wilson of Montpelier was traveling northbound when, for unknown reasons, her vehicle left the roadway on the right shoulder, came back onto the road and rolled, landing upside down. Sarah and two passengers, 26-year-old Abigail Bond of South Carolina and a 10-year-old girl, were all ejected from the vehicle, all three were not wearing seatbelts. Two other passengers, a two-month-old girl and a six-year-old girl, were not ejected.
The driver, Sarah Wilson, Abigail Bond and the two-month-old girl, all died as a result of the crash. The 10-year-old girl was taken to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake with serious injuries. The six-year-old girl had non-life threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
They were on their way to get a new puppy. Sarah just graduated this year from our alternative high school, the 2 month old was her daughter Allissa who was born on April 28th, one month before graduation. The 10 year old is her little sister Heather, who is in Jeremiah's class, and last we heard was that the one life-flighted didn't make it either. Jeremiah is much to young to have to say goodbye to one of his classmaes. The 26 year old was a friend of Sarah's & the mother to the 6 year old(who is aslo a cousin to the 2 month old). This is very heartbreaking. Skylar was friends with Sarah & Jeremiah was with Heather. If you have any rays or prayers to send to Sarah & Heather's mother & little Allissa's grandmother, as well as the others, it would be amazing of you. Thanks to you all. And, if you could, maybe squeeze one in for Skylar & Jeremiah, they are really having a hard time right now. They both seem to still be in shock. Thanks again....
I have also attached a picture of Allissa... She is truly an agnel now..
This is so shocking and heartbreaking. What a beautiful little girl. Many Many prayers out to all the families involved in this terrible tragedy. My heart is with you all. Hugs and kisses to Jeremiah and Skylar. :comfort: :comfort:
That is so awful!!! We just had a very similar accident here on Friday night. I'll definately be praying for all the families. I'll be praying for all of your family as well. Its so hard losing a friend and not understanding why. :comfort:
Tears are running down my face. I am sooooo sorry.
Thank you so much for the rays & prayers.. Unfortunately we found out that the 10 year old (Heather) passed Sunday morning. They kept losing her while on the ventilator, so her mother made the most difficult decision to remove her from life support Saturday night. Jeremiah had a really rough night.. He cried for quite awhile after I told him of his friend's passing.. He is sure he wants to attend the funeral. I only hope he can be strong, & that I can be strong for both of my children. Rest in Peace Sarah, Allissa & Heather. They will be missed..
Oh No!!! I'm so sorry to hear about Heather. Give Jeremiah a hug from me and Porky Pie. :comfort:
I will.. Thanks. The funerals are tomorrow at noon. I just hope Jeremiah & Skylar will handle it all ok. I hope I will, I don't like funerals, especially not a baby's. I just read the obits online.. How sad! Such beautiful girls, gone too soon.
