your doxie or your hubby? It was really quiet last night and then the snoring started. I leaned over to tell my hubby to roll over when I realized the snoring was coming from Sergeant, who was laying on his back, propped up on hubby's pillow between us. He was so loud! I gave him a few belly rubs before I attempted to roll him over to get him to stop. He got mad and dove under the covers, but at least the snoring stopped!!
In my house the competition is between Simson and Tommie. They both sleep on each side of me, heads on the pillow, snoring away into my ears, Tommie with his mouth WIDE OPEN  Geeesh, I sometimes have to move them and shake them to wake up, but the silence never prevails for long... How such loud snoring can come from that small body is a mystery to me
LOL! It's a toss up in my house between Oscy and Toby! Doesn't matter WHAT position they are in they still snore.
Have you tried using belly rubs on your husband????.........no, don't tell me, I don't think we should go there!!!
My husband is definitely the loudest. Misty is a close second, but hers are mostly contented sighs.
HA ! Dad wins by a landslide....Rudy never snores...but my little Brandy has a nasal snore....and she is usually in my ear !!!! Kinda comforting though - I just cuddle her close........and punch dad at the same time !
I think it's me although foster Aggie come close and then runner up to that is Bella the granddog:)
Julie, I judge from your post that your hubby is back from Iraq? I haven't been on the boards for a while.... :lastweek:
Yep, I am back from Iraq! :hello2: One of my concerns that I was thinking about was the puppers and me being home again. I was wondering if I was going to be barked at because of me being in the house again or not. But I was greeted at the door by two wagging tails, happy barks and so many doxie kisses, you'd think I was gone for 4 1/2 months...wait a second...I was.
Both Libby and Sgt were my shadows for the next few days that I was at home and we had a blast together since I had some comp time off from work to rest.
Thank you for all the well wishing while I was in Iraq. They did not go by un-noticed...I actually read the board while I was over there and love the new format.
the snorers in our place are Nick and Emma. I did the same one night, dug Nick in the ribs and said turn over, then realised it was still going. Turning waking etc does not deter her or him. It should be said she is a dads girl.
Amy does'nt snore she snorts every so often.
Roberta
PS Eric glad to know your back in the arms and paws of your family safely
Yay Eric! Glad that you made it back home safe and sound. Thank you for your service over there! My hubby was there for seven months. He got back this past April. He came home to an ecstatic Chilie....I thought her tail was going to fall off from wagging so hard! Glad to hear that Sergeant and Libby adjusted to your homecoming well....somehow they just know that Daddy was gone, but now he's back home! :hello2:
I hate to admit it, but I think the loudest snorer is ME. Mark often has restless nights and will report the next morning that while he was up, I was sawing logs the loudest with Dolly in a close second. Oh....Madderoo snores too.
