Here dey are finally!!! We've been cwazy busy since we got home, sorry it took us so long to get dese up here.
Da firstest one is me and my gweat-gwammy. (We were watching "Match Game" at her house. )
Da second is of Bandit and his mama (my gwammy) Dey are watching too.
Da third is of dese weird looking doggies dat lib at gweat-gwammy's . Da black and white (paint?) is named Marie, Da Red is named Spunky, and da white (Apaloosa?) is named Moose. Oh...and dey were fun to bark at. Bandit and I let dem know we were not pleased dat dey ate gwammy's fence!!! :cussing: (Dis was taken before da fence eating incident.)
Da fourth is one piccy of da mountains. (we fink da Wind River mountains, wif da Tetons behind) We forgot to label dem.. Oopsie!!! :doah:
More to come.....
Fin Says: I hope you gave those big doggies what for! They are verry suspicious lookin... Its very pretty der! I hope you peed on lots!!
Porky pie you looked verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry comfortable on gweat gwammy's lap! Hope you didn't scare dem horsie's to much!
More piccies.....
Number 5 is anodder shot of da mountains taken fwom da weservation near Ft. Washakee, Wyoming. Again dis is da Wind River range with da white capped Tetons behind it. (We fink?)
Number 6 is of "Pete" da Bighorn sheep. He lays on da pathway to the fish feeding area at Sinks Canyon eberyday. Da park wangers named him. Dere are signs warning people to stay far away fwom him, so we used da zoom, don't worry we didn't get very close at all. He's dangerous!!! He nearly charged a Asian tourist who got too close.
Number 7 is of "Pete" after he stood up and stared da Asian man down. Luckilly he was more interested in the tree than the man!!!
Number 8 is of Bandit (note....he is getting ready to pee on Aunt Mindys shoe!!!) :2funny: We didn't see that till after we looked at the piccies. Aunt Mindy, Porky Pie, Amorette (Porky's mama), and Gweat-Gwammy. Sorry we are all squinting, the sun was bright!!!!
And eben more piccies.....
Number 9 is of da Sinks Canyon flowers.....
Number 10 is of da Sinks..... my mama had to hike down some slippy rocks to get dis photo. When she got down dere was a Native American man sitting in the corner praying. Very kewl!!! Mama respected his wishes and didn't take his piccy.
Number 11 is of da Rise.... Water going up...not down! (da awea is called da sinks and da wise because the water "sinks" undergwound and den rises back up. Basically it is a recirculating thingy. Its kinda cool. Da ranger telled us dat it takes 2-3 minutes for da water to "Rise" up da hill and about 2-3 HOURS for it to get back underground. Its a stwange but cool pwace.
Number 12 is of a statue of Sacajawea (this is supposedly her official gwave in Ft. Wasakee, Wyoming. Although there are some other states that claim they have the official gravesite??? Also...she is wearing Jewelry left by her descendants and tribal members.
Those are great pictures. Looks like you all had a great time. Porkey you are just so very handsome and I am glad you had a good time. Thanks for sharing
hugs and love laura and romeo
WONDERFUL WONDERFUL....GORGEOUS PICTURES!!!! I am so glad you had a great time!!
Great pictures! Looks like Porky had a wonderful vacation!
Thanks everyone! I was disappointed I couldn't get a better picture of the mountains! The view from my grandma's is amazing, but it was so hot there was a haze in most of my pictures I took at her house. I even took and 8 mile hike towards the mountains trying to get a better picture. They were so beautiful that whole week, but the pictures just weren't working. :dontknow:
We had a blast and I fell in love with Moose the white apaloosa. They are owned by a lady that rents the pasture from my grandma. I went out to pet them the first day, and Moose literally ran to me. He loved to greet you by snuffing air into your face (about forehead level) and moving his lips around to show you his teeth. :2funny: Also, if I turned my back before he had enough petting, he would nudge my arm until I turned around and petted him more. He was such a sweet boy.
Porky and Bandit did not appreciate the horses and barked at them a lot. They also spent lengths of time staring at the horses and tilting their heads back and forth, trying to figure out what they were.
My uncle's step-granddaughter really bonded with Porky on the one day they had to visit. They played and cuddled outside for hours. Sweet Lily kept telling me that she would always keep Porky in her special place in her heart. I'm bummed that they might move to Houston so we might not see her again for years.
It was a great vacation and Porky travelled like a champ. The boys made sure to howl and cause a big scene everytime we stopped at a rest stop for a picnic lunch. (they were left in the car, too many people) :2funny:
Those are lovely pictures! Glad you had a great time and WOW - Porky you are HANDSOME!
Also I am envious of you watching "Match Game". I love that show!

I didn't even know it was still on - shame on me! Both my roommates really like it too - we'll have to try and catch it sometime soon.
We actually used to have the theme music on our answering machine...back in the days when we had an answering machine.
