Title: Safety belt for the sofa
Post by: Leslie on October 24, 2005, 03:49:14 PM
Ok--this only works with a sectional, but at least I figured a way for the Lokster NOT to jump down off the sofa.  ("RAMP" command and a cookie works to get her UP.)

Take a spare leash and thread it between two of the sectionals.  Loop the "handle" under a sofa leg.  Measure the safe distance to yer doggie and make a big loop/knot to shorten it.  Attach to harness. Viola.  Safety belt!  Just like in the cah. YAY!

This might work on a regular sofa if you are willing to drill an eye-pin or something behind the cushion, eh?
