the majority of sunsets are like this we are spoilt
Oh, just beautiful Roberta! I wish you could bottle those up and send them my way!!!
mmmm with a wee dram of the good stuff in hand and hubby and dachsies beside you - heaven
That is sooooo beautiful!
That really is beautiful. What area do you live in?
What a beautiful sunset and surroundings! I love to watch the sunset and sunrise........I am in awe of your view. Hmmm, just might need to plan a trip sometime to Australia to see your sunsets.....and sunrises!
We have not used the wee dram watching it set, but my sister and us have consumed numerous Shiraz's and two tons of cheese.
Sunrises are a bit more subdued
Well, maybe more subdued, but a misty sunrise looks gorgeous to me!

Everyone comes to Oz and sees Sydney Mebourne or the great barrier reef, lovey but are tourist traps, the real Australia
is in the bush, and in my opinion if your in a city you can be anywhere.
We retired (semi ) in April this year We live on about 5 acres out of the small town of Bruthen.
our web pages has more photos etc plus our four legged kids

Fin Says: Whats sunrise? Ifn its happens befor i wakes up, forgets it.
I usually love to get up and take sunrise pictures, especially at the beach or, recently, in Atlanta. This past weekend I went to Furman University here in Greenville to spend some relaxing time with my camera and practice some sunset pictures. They have a beautiful lake with a belltower that is often photographed. The following three pictures are some of the results of the two hours I spent there. I love the swan swimming away in the last one. It was like he was letting me know the show was over and it was time to go home.
Beautiful pictures Teresa.....so serene....
It is a very peaceful place, especially in the summer when the students are away : )
There is a 3 mile walk around the lake that is wonderful. They also have several gardens on campus. If you want a place to get away for awhile, this is a great place to do it.
Great shotsTeresa, can you take the dogs on the walk or are they banned.
Roberta
The dogs can go. Meg and I went back there this evening and walked around the lake with my niece and let her feed the ducks. We actually passed a couple walking the lake path with a dachshund that was close to Schatzi's color. That was the second one we saw today. Earlier we were at a state park and saw one that could have been Schatzi's twin. The coloring was almost a perfect match and the size was pretty close.
The next trip to Furman will include Schatzi. Molly would have a hard time making it all the way around, but if it is cool enough, I'll have Randy bring her and she can walk some and then they can rest.
