meet Jack
Hope to have him this weekend if the transport works out ok.
I'd say the girls at Camden Veterinary Hospital done a great job...first by getting him back healthy....second by pooling there dollars and buying him from someone who has no business having a dog.

What a precious little man! I am so glad that you are taking him in. Sammy will be happy to know that you are helping another dachshund, although he hopes that you fatten this skinny guy up. Sammy says that a chubbier bearcub-like physique is best.
What a sweet face!!!!
Aw...another cutie. I haven't heard his story!
Ken says, no, 3's enough; but, he would fit in so well with Dottie...a matched pair :)
Hang in there Jack, there's a family looking for you!
OMGoodness so cuuuute!!
My boyfriend and i have decided that our next Dashie will be a rescue, as much as i hate knowing puppers out there need to be rescued, it makes me feel good knowing there are people out there who are draggin at the leash, so to speak, to be there for them.
Yay!
Yea!!! Jack is soooo cute!!! Hope he gets to come to you this week-end too!!! He needs some doggie treats!!
Okay....If my landlord would let us have another baby....he would definately be coming home to us!! Jack is such a handsome little guy!!! I hope he finds the best home really soon!!!!!
I'm proud to announce that Jack is now in his new foster home (with me) and is doing very well.
Whatever problems he had, he has left behind. When I let him loose in the yard he became 100% pure puppy and wanted to play with my crew. Some good food and excercise and he'll muscle up quite nicely.
Now to start house training ( he's already using the doggie door) and obedence training and he'll be ready to go to a new home. Because he's a puppy he'll get alot of applications and I can be selective (I always am selective) about the home he goes to.
I want to thank the Ladies at Camden Veterinary Hospital, Camden SC, for getting him back to health and sending him to DRNA.
He's a sweet little dog and is going to make a great companion for some lucky owner.
I'll post pictures later.
Aw i am SO happy to hear that!!
I hope you find Jack THE BEST home you can!!
He's a cutie, don't know how you are going to part with him when the time comes. Glad i'm in Canada or I would be on the adoption list for him!!!!
What a cutie pie. I love it when they are little like that I wish they could stay that way they grow up way to fast. Puppy breath that is what I am thinking of I love puppy breath and puppy kisses. You will have all kinds of fun with that little doll. Good for you
hugs and love laura and romeo

Jack saying hello to Ms. Lucy

Jack looks so happy. You can tell his tail is wagging in the picture. Ms. Lucy looks less than thrilled with this new development. Another young'un to interrupt her beauty sleep!
Jack is lovely! *heart melts*
Congratulations, so lovely to see they are sweet together!
How is Jack doing so far?
oh boy. Puppies are a pain in the arse. After raising 2 of my own I never wanted a puppy again. After Simon-angel went to rainbow bridge I got my first rescue dog because I didn't want to raise puppies and a rescue dog was the right thing to do.
However
Taking Jack was something that needed to be done. He's full of energy and is always ready to go. He's a sweet little dog and a reasonably fast learner. He's using the doggie door reliably, the only issue is a little marking which I'll correct with a belly band. I still have to train him to ask to go out. Few people have doggie doors and teachin him to ask to go out will help when I go to place him in a new home.
I messed up and left my bedroom door open and the little stinker chewed my CPAP mask into bits...my fault I should have known better..
Ms. Lucy hates him...well not really hate...she plays with him on occassion. She's the queen bee around the house and a little fussy anyway.
Mr. Wilson and Jack are finally gettting along very well and play together pretty much any time the mood hits. Jack's sniff & hump habit is pretty much gone now thanks to Wilson straightening him out and the judicisious use of a squirt bottle.
Overall I'd say things are going really well.
Aw well it sounds like he is doing really well!! Just acting like a normal pupper would!
Good luck!!
Glad that things are going well !!! Puppydom = one step forward, two back - LOL !!! He will learn.... Love the picture of he and Lucy !
