The end of March my sister and nephew adopted a couple of doxies from our friend Sue Shumard named Arnold Schwarzenweiner and Cinni Stix.Well last week my family and I was getting a new roof on our garage and the man doing the work asked if I had any extra yarn and I gave him some and left a couple of balls of yarn on the front porch and one fell off the chair I laid them on and Arnie discovered it and had it from one end of our house to the other, then after I got it picked up he proceeded to do it a second time and had it all over the house alot worse than the first time and some also went out to the front porch all over the porch and out the new "doggie" door! While I was trying to pick it up the second time around he tried to steal it from me a third time.Arnie is only 7 months old.My nephew Trevor that Arnie belongs to thought it was funny both times he did it and so did his friend that happened to be over to play X-Box 360.
This reminds me of the scene in the Ugly Dachshund Movie where the doxies drag her knitting all over the living room. :2funny:

I forgot about that! I have the movie and remember that part now that you mention it!
Yes it does remind you of that scene doesn't it. That is too funny Kelly. Arnie sounds like a real character. Especially since he got away with it three times in a row! LOL! :thumb: Sure wish you could have gotten some pictures of that to post for us.
that would have been a riot to watch. Growing up we had a poodle who would do that same thing with toilet paper if we left the bathroom door open when we went away.
just reminds me of Emma and Angus getting into my work basket and doing the same with about 20 balls of rather expensive wool, it took for evr n and out of rooms and out the doggie door to the garden. But I suppose you gotta see da funny side.

Silly kids !!!! Keep rollin' it up and letting him play with it !!!
That is too funny!!! Wish I could have been there :2funny:
Fin does that with toilet Paper he LOVES it. We come in to the room and it looks like it has started snowing... the funniest toys are the ones they aren't supposed to have!
Yarn is one thing Schatzi can't resist. I didn't think anything about it the first time I dropped a skein on the floor beside me since she never really bothers stuff isn't stuffed with a squeaky inside. Was I ever surprised when she got it and quietly started pulling all the yarn out of it. Now I know not to leave one in her sight. If she sees it, she thinks it is hers!
That sounds like Porky loves to do. :2funny:
Zack at 15 has started pulling off the toilet paper. He kind of stands against the toilet so he can reach it if it isn't hanging down.
The other day I heard him and said no don't do that. Yeah right mom -- he took ahold of it and ran past me to the livingroom with it unwinding behind him.

He is in his second childhood I guess.

I know what you mean. I have to watch Hilde with any kind of paper, especially toliet paper. She tears it up all over the place. It is such fun to pick up. Would have loved to seen all that yarn everywhere (as long as I didn't have to clean it up).

Millie is my thief  She'll hop up on the coffee table, or the patio table outside and next thing you know, she's taking off with whatever she finds out there-like my sister's sunglasses and eyedrops, my niece's sand toys (both a bucket and a rake), Winston's Chuck-it, Mom's pill case (twice-and with pills inside! Thank goodness we got it back before she managed to get the medicine out of it) -well you get the idea. She also steals my shoes and socks, as if that will prevent me from leaving the house :dontknow:, and also steals dog harnesses and leashes when I'm taking them off the dogs, and towels when I'm trying to dry off the dogs on a wet day. My mom calls her a "hoot".
Hilarious! And yes, it is very reminiscent of the scene in "The Ugly Dachshund"...bwahaha!
Poor Scooter - he couldn't unroll yarn or shred toilet tissue even if he wanted to. Things just go sliding right through his toothless gums...
