Porky Pie,

"Muttzarella" is a okey-dokey cheese to eat.....don't worry....it won't turn you into a cannybal!  We love muttzarella cheese and yellow or white american cheese!!  Good stuff!    :hello2: :hello2:

AHEM . . .
MOZZARELLA cheese is Italian.  You were confused due to a) your hooman failed to pronounce it properly or, b) hearing issues due to your naturally fabulous Dachshund ears, which are designed to hang down and direct scent to your olefactory senses-

Thanks for the ten-cent words, Dr. Dictionary!  It's not mutts, Porkey Pie, so don' sweat it!  I bet it's great - Auntie Karen used to use it all da time!  Merlin :bolt:
AHEM. . . !  As I was saying . . . oh, well, anyway.  You're welcome.

Cheese, please!  We haven't met a cheese we don't like - yet!  Of course, we are limited to what the hoomom buys, 'cause they don't seem to have cheese by itself at Petco or PetsMart - only cheese in treats, ya know!  Momma does get some Irish cheese that we like when she shares with us.  There are two kinds, one is "Dubliner", and the other is "Aged Irish Cheddar".  We do, of course, like Mozzarella and any other Italian cheeses we've sampled.   :thumb:

Oddly enough, our boys are big fans of the lacey baby swiss.  It is low in sodium, too.

Being from the dairy state, merion and I both like cheeses a LOT!!    Especially the naughty kinds... Beer battered Cheese Curds!!!! mozarella sticks, pizza's with extra cheese!

Neither of us is as fussy as Daddy was!  He WOULD turn up his noses at certain ones.  HE LOVED sharp cheddar the more aged the better!  Get him a 5 year old cheese and he would love it!!  But then he would turn around and call COLBY cheese(invented in COLBY, WI mind you... about 40 miles or so from where we lived)...he called that RAT CHEESE...only good for rats!!

I've heard that too, so I haven't been brave enough to try ice cream with Porky yet.   His tummy has been so sensitive in the past, I'm too scared about it eve having a possiblility of causing problems.
