Dis is Porky Pie. Boy do I gots a stowy to tell. My mama was "sitting" on da neighbor kid yestaday acuz his mama werked late. Anyway, he had dis magic cup dat he liked to carry around. He twied to gib me a dwink a few times, but it neber worked. :dontknow: After he sat wif me for a while, he wanted to run. Man, he can run fast!!! I was chasing after him and den he twipped. His cup fell on da fwoor and spilled all da milk. Being da helpful pup dat I am, I helped him cwean it up.
Next fing I know, mama is scooping me up and telling me, "NO! NO! You're allergic!" Whateber dat means?? Da boy started to cwy and my mama held us in da chair until we felt bedda. She gibbed us bof a cookie and den da boy's mama came. (don't worry I had a dog cookie and da boy had a animal cookie)
As soon as da lady came mama got on da phone to da vet to see what to do about me dwinking da milk. Da vet wanted her to bwing me in right away acuz my tummy gets hurtin when I hab milk. Da vet checkeded me out and kept me dere for an hour. I had no weaction at all!!! :apls: Dey are gonna do anodder allergy test on me tomorrow and see iffen I'm still 'llergic to milk or iffen i "growed out of it". (da vet said builded up 'mmunity to it.)
Man, if I woulda knowed I could "grow out" of dat milk allergy, I woulda done it a LONG time ago. We'll let you all know tomorrow abternoon.

WOW...that would be AWESOME if you outgrew your milk allergy....crossing fingers and paws that you are not allergic to milk anymore :xfinger: :xfinger:
My 4 would hate being allergic to milk. They can't wait for me to finish my cereal in the morning so they can have some milk. Non fat of course.
Parker here: cheesers are berry yum yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fin Says: I LOVE CHEEZ! I go bonkers for it!
Fingers crossed you will be all cleared for milk products! First stop...Dairy Queen!!!
Let us know what the vet says! :xfinger:
Wow, crossing fingers that Porky Pie will be fine now with milk... and Ice cream! Max will be too jealous because his tummy didn't like milk too.
Porky spent the night at the vet's last night to hae his test done. Our vet likes to test them in the late afternoon and keep them overnight to watch them and make sure they don't have any late reactions or anything. Porky went to the vet's (animal hospital) yesterday at 4 pm. He got to take his bed, blankie, and a stuffed toy. I requested that they call me periodically throughout the night so I knew he was okay. The vet tech called about midnight last night and said Porky was doing great but was having a hard time sleeping. She said she was going to let him follow her around for a few hours and sleep on her lap to see if that calmed him down. She's the best!!!!
The latest phone call was at 5 am and they said he is still doing fine and can come home at 7. :hello2: :meme: :apls: He is also safe to have milk products now as long as we are able to watch him closely. We are suspecting that he may have outgrown his chicken allergy also, but we'll check that at a later date. Porky still has troubles with the summer time sneezes and wheezes, but at least I won't have to search through the dog foods trying to find one without milk in it.
I can hardly wait to go pick up my buddy. It was a lonesome night without him here.
Great news for our Porky Pie! Bella says..... YUMMMMMMYYYYYY ! ICE CREAM and da CHEESE! Porky...make sure yer mama stocks up on dem good things from da market. Dat cheese is ond fine TREAT!

How can a canine who would happily eat two-week-old road kill be allergic to CHICKEN???
THIS I do NOT understand!

Poor Auntie Karen! You don't realize that in the world of Haute Cuisine, it's PRESENTATION! :feedme:

" Bon Appetit!"
Schatzi says you need to go for the morning cereal. That is the best way to start the day (not that it really starts hers-she just goes right back to sleep). It doesn't matter where I am when I have my cereal or how soundly she is sleeping-when I near the bottom of the bowl Schatzi WILL show up. She'll be there waiting on her milk fix and then go back to sleep. If I happen to not eat breakfast at home one morning, she will occasionally show up and give me the once over, seeing if I have somehow had breakfast without her knowing about it.
Yep, Porky, you are really going to like this milk stuff!
Glad to hear, our pair it is the crumbled feta I put on the salad and they come from anywhere for milk when we have cereal. Now go see what you can worm outta mum Porky
