Hey Weenie Folks! I know it's been forever, but figured I had better get my butt over here (I'm a Facebook-a-holic, sorry) and introduce you to our new BABY!!! His name is Bailey (Renner's Baileys Irish Cream) & he's a 13-week-old, red 'n black, LH boy! He is so awesome!!! I'll try to head back again & check out what ch'all thinks! If you want to add me to FB, let me KNOW-PM me!!! TONS more pics there!!! I think I'm turning into a Veener-Holic!
HUGS!
Brandee, Cali & Bailey's Momma
I also just shaved Cali again & now, she really looks like a wirehair (gave her a Cocker-cut). I'm kinda bummed, but she STILL has that HUGE  heart!!! She's taking to the new baby quite well...yaps at him & he'll go after her, they are SO fun! Poor Brandee, she's 9 1/2 & Cali is only 1 1/2, so they both really needed this.
See, we were undecided <little dog or big dog; Golden or Doxie.....sooooo, after trying the Black Lab pup memories from around Christmas, I finally said "That's it, another mini-weenie!" and am SO glad I did!!! OK...............glad I stopped by & hope to hear what's up with everybody!!!
   ADORABLE!!!
Soooooooooooooooo adorable!!!!!
VERY cute! What happened to the black lab puppy?
Awww!! Such cute babies! We're facebook-aholics too!
Now that is one cute puppy!!! I'll bet he and Calli have are very entertaining.
I am so facebook challenged it's sad LOL. I can't figure my way around that place...
Yes what happened to the lab puppy you had?
I'll bet Cali is very cute looking like a wire doxie cut, would love to see a picture of her!
Yay, your new boy was so gorgeous and handsome. Congratulations and welcome back! :thumb:

It took me forever to figure it out Dee Dee. If you need lessons, let me know. :thumb:
Cali is a spoiled BRAT, so she's adjusting. The Lab pup...he didn't work out. At 9-weeks-old & 30#, he was just too rough on Cali & my nerves, when it was -35 below ZERO. I returned him to the breeder (a friend of mine).
Bailey is a better match/fit for our family. He's been a wonderful addition. Our Golden is on a downhill slide at 9 and Cali is only 1 1/2, so I felt like now was the right time. Unlike Cali...Bay loves water & is doing well 'bin training'. I use a large storage bin vs a crate cuz he pees on the bed. Cali slept on our pillow & would wake me with kisses to go out. Grrrrrr, frustrating, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do............
Thanks for all the comments. He's gonna be a pretty longhair-unlike Cali who looks like a weenie/yorkie/cocker mess. lol But is weird, I get endless compliments on how people like her unique look.
I'm Mary Renner on FB & right now, Bay is my profile pic.
That's too bad the lab pup didn't work out. You have to be prepared for those big guys that grow fast! I had a Great Dane once and it was a daily comedy show as he was growing up (and even after he grew up) he was hilarious. I'd come home from work sometimes to the 9 piece sectional couch upside down and every which way with all the stuffing pulled out of it with my longhaired doxie Jessie sitting in the corner going I DIDN'T DO IT!! LOL. It was just one of the joys of having a Great Dane teenager. Now my house is much cleaner and nicer things but I'd give anything to go back to those days.
Bailey sounds wonderful. He sure is a cutie. So you use a bin instead of a crate? Does he sleep well through the night? Cali is a good girl to wake you with kisses when she needs to go out. She is so cute I agree with the others that she is really adorable with her coat like it is. Would love to see new photos of her.
Amorette I may take you up on that thank you! I haven't had much time to poke around there again I'm sure I'm looking at it wrong and it will make sense once I see how it's intended. (OK I'm a little slow on the uptake...)
Here are some new ones. Yes Dee, he sleeps & does well in the "puppy bin" but has now figured out how to jump out...grrrr. I don't wanna go crate...but maybe he'll do well in one. We'll see as time goes on. He has a vet appt. tomorrow, so we'll see how much he weighs-he's a GLUTTEN...unlike Ms. Cali who is not (unless you don't push your dining chair in!!!) Cali is SO sweet, if she has a toy & Bailey wants it, she gives it up. They are bonding s-l-o-w-l-y. Her & Brandee are just soul-sistas.
OH-and poor Bailey has the "under peter hair" that we teased somebody about awhile back and NO, I refuse to trim it (hubby gives me SO much crap about Bay's "lower sweeper")! I so remember that thread, it was a riot!
So.....as promised, new pics :)
They are all adorable but i was looking in the member gallery and Cali is so beautiful! I love unique dogs!
Thanks, but I have been shaving Cali down-she gets sooooo matted! I just gave her a 'cocker cut' and she looks SO much like a wirehair now. Hubby is mad I shaved her furry face. Oooops, just experimenting & man, is she CURLY!!!

Dee Dee,
It really is easy, once you get started on facebook. It took me a few days to figure it all out, but now I love it. If you ever want help pm me and I'd be glad to assist.
