Dee Dee watch out ! ................. this is MY attempt at W-I-L-D-L-I-F-E photography in Glacier National Park today
Eeee!!! Your subject line got me all excited I couldn't click fast enough LOL. I love it.. a GNP Bunny! So the question is...where was eLlIe? That bunny would have been long gone if she were on the scene!
Gosh Ruth how close do you live to the park? I'd LOVE that.
How are you feeling?????????
Awwww....what a cute bunny! Yes, how are you feeling Ruth??
I love the picture, Ruth. Glad to know you are getting out again.
Dee Dee, Just wait until you see how close she is. She'll post the picture that shows the park, practically in her backyard, and we will all get very, very jealous. If I'm not mistaken, she gets to enter it, on foot at least, before it is opened to everyone else (or some perk like that).
Here are a couple of pictures of yesterday's trip to Glacier National Park. My sister is here for a visit (and to check on me!)
I do live about 30 miles from the entrance to GNP. The only road going through the park is still not opened across the pass. We could travel about 20 miles into the park ... around beautiful Lake McDonald. We had lunch at Lake McDonald Lodge.
P.S. I'm doing great thank you. I went to the oncologist today. He said that I am one fortunate woman, more so than most people who pass through his office. I will do radiation and some meds.
Fantastic on both accounts, you and the park.
We looked and looked and looked , and for a while all that we found was ...........
Then we found ........
and....
I really am enjoying my sister's vacation !
:apls: :apls: AWESOME pictures Ruth! So very glad you are doing well :apls: :apls:
When I was a young man I spent the month of February in Glacier National Park
Back packs and cross country skis, snow caves, tents, snow trenchs....
have you ever wiped your arse with a snow ball?
Those late pictures are satisfying for a wildlife things. Amazing shots! :thumb: :thumb:
