We made it to Michigan in record time-3 days on the road with four dogs and two cats was plenty, thank you very much :verdict:
I've been here for a little more than three weeks-we finally got the high speed installed and I am sooooo happy. I could not take a single more day of dial up. In that three weeks span, I got an offer on the house, which fell through on inspection (I had some repairs done though, which should help on the next one), have had several interviews for jobs, and have seen more of my nieces and nephews than I have in years -it's been absolutely crazy-busy though :thumb: The dogs are adjusting nicely-Murphy and Reilly adore my parents. Winston is convinced they are here soley to throw the ball for him 24 hours a day. Millie's just starting to let them pet her finally. She was the holdout.
Last week, Winston was sprayed in the face at nearly midnight by a skunk. Thankfully, I thought of the Mythbusters and found the remedy they had posted as *confirmed* to work, on their site and bathed him in it. It actually worked for the post part. He still has the very faint odor of skunkiness if you put your nose right up to his head, but the horrid stench he was covered in that night was gone right away. In any case, I need to start taking pictures of the guys again in their new huge backyard and I'll start posting again regularly! It's good to be back!
Welcome back! Glad to hear everyone made it safe and sound and you're all settling in nicely. Poor Winston - it's a good thing that Mythbusters was able to provide a solution to his stinky situation. :grin:
