Den dis mornin, I'ms lookin out da new window, and what does I see but a nasty wittle bunnie diggin up Momma's flowers and eatin da roots. I barked up a storm so Momma lets me out (she didn't see da bunnie in da garden) and I caught dat wittle bunnie and gave it a good shakin, den I brought it to Momma and dropped it right on her feet!!!!!!!! It started hoppin away, so I pounced on it agains!!!
Momma says to leave it, and picked me up and puts me in da house agains!!!!!!!! NO FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Parker's Momma: I did apoligize to Parker, but he seems to be sulking. I'm glad he didn't kill the bunny. I watched it find its way out of the yard. I honestly thought it was him as our yard is very secure to keep him in. I'm glad Parker didn't notice the small opening in the fence that has now been closed up tight.
Aw Parker I believed you from the start. We have bunnies in our yard and when Sam Angel and Eddie Angel would see them they would sit and just watch. One night we all sat outside for a hour watching our bunny hop around. As for skwerls well Eddie Angel had a run in with one and they never came into the yard again, that is until now. They are in my attice, how I miss Eddie my skwerl hunter.

OH NOES. Parker, what a trying couple of days you've had! We Dachsies are sometimes SO MISUNDERSTOOD. At least your momma made you some Eggs of Atonement. Maybe if you continue to look sad and misunderstood she will give you even more treats! (It works with my mom).
I hope that bunny understands your yard is OFF LIMITS. It sounds like you put some proper fear into him, so well-done you for that! You are clearly an excellent guardian of your property and I wag my tail in salute to you!
