Title: rut ro
Post by: Leslie on May 26, 2009, 07:59:32 AM
We were visiting some friends yesterday and another couple brought their mixed breed dog, Hector.  He is  a great dawg and he had all kinds of fun running around their four acre property.  He stayed nearby and was generally being a good boy until the cops show up!!!!!!!  And there is Hector in the back seat of the squad car, sittin' just as nice as you please.
The homeowner goes over to the squad car  and sez to Hector: "What did you do?" and he gets a big wet sloppy kiss. (from the dog, not the cop.)
Then the cop gets out and Hector gets out and sits nicely in the driveway while the policeman reports that the dawg had gotten into someone's yard and killed their pet bunny.Oh Man.  My friends are really upset and of course the bunny was owned by a little girl and Hector doesn't even really know what he did wrong since he is a city dawg and I think this may have even been the first bunny he has ever seen.
dag.  Of course this is the dog owner's fault for being unleashed, but if ever there was a dog you could trust it would be Hector.  Just goes to show you how strong the prey drive is in ALL canines.

Poor Hector and poor bunny.  Hopefully they will replace the bunny rabbit for the little girl.  I hope Hector doesn't have to go to jail :xfinger:

So poor bunny. We don't know when our dog gonna show their natural instinct. Just like my Max, one day he just bring a dead squirrel home and he looks so proud of himself.
