I was just on the computer with Fin in my lap, and my boyfriend was walking down the hallway towards the room, and Fin went into Pitbull mode.

Fin Says: Nobodys is sneakin' up on my mom!

Rudy-angel used to snooze under the covers.  When there was a thunderstorm, he would wake up, get over the covers, usually by my head, and sit in "alert" mode until the danger passed.   Even though he was frightened by the thunder (I could feel his body shake), his loyalty to his master trumped any fear that he had.

Hallie started this this year with me being sick so much I often can only lay on the floor (before this we are on the go constantly). Hallie will sit on top of me when I do that with her butt to my face and just sit there. When people come over she used to always run up to them tail wagging and want pets constantly, now, although she would never act agressive at anyone, she will run up for a quick hi then right back to me and sit on me and will smile and wag at them but they cant' call her to them she won't budge. Makes me feel bad that I've made her feel insecure, they are the most wonderful loyal friends we can have (some people...not you guys, but some people...dont understand why I prefer to live with a dog!).

Bandit does the same thing!!   For a while he wouldn't even let my dad in the same room if my mom was asleep.
