When Rudy-angel and Max-angel would hear me stir, they would climb on top of me. One morning, when I opened my eyes, I had one dachshund snout pointing at my left eye, and one dachshund snout pointing at my right eye. Dachshund nostrils in steroscopic vision! Of course, once my eyes were open, it was the cue to start licking.

NOW his new thing, is when i get home from work, if i flop on the bed or the couch he runs up and almost slides up my tummy till his little arms are "around" my neck and he tries to lick my teeth (and mind you he does this at FULL Dachsund speed). And it makes me laugh so hard that he usually succeeds.

I have one of those, too. Hilde every morning after I take my sleep mask off, comes running up the bed and tries to gives me kisses all over my nose area, especially up the nose. Yuck as far as I'm concerned, but Hilde must love it because she keeps trying to do it. Go figure.
