Sarge N Duggie here: We've been banned from the garden area! Yesterday, Mom, Dad and our neighbor, Randy put some really fun smelling dirt on the garden area! We snuck in there while they was werkin' and when we looked as though we were gonna lick it, Dad and Randy hollered our names and we lickity split right outta there! Then, Mom put up two big x-pens and made sure that there were no holes for us to get into the area......at least until they get it rototilled which won't be until it isn't raining! We could be smellin' real purty but the hoo-mans won't let us! Not fair!!!!
And then, today, a guy came to measure and give Mom and Dad some quotes for "our sidewalk" along the back fence and also for a large patio area off the deck towards the back.......and it may be that for Thursday and Friday, we'll be banned from our backyard while the guys do the werk! Mom says that she'll set up a small area for us in the front to use as potty grounds....that means that the x-pens will not be in the garden but heck, that won't do us any good cuz we'll be banned from our training grounds!!!! We'll know for sure on Wednesday night if they will be able to come on Thursday. One good thing that happened is that the cement guy wants to buy Dad's curbing machine....he saw ours and asked about it......Dad said he had the machine but that he was wanting to sell it since he can't do that kind of work cuz of his MS. So that is good........that machine has been a concern for Mom cuz it's just sitting and not getting used anymore......but looks like it is going to go to a new home......yea! Oh, and the man that came today said his son has a doxie and his name is Capone! And, they watch him for their son when he has to go somewhere and all Capone wants to do is sit on his Grandma's lap and he doesn't want to play with the other doggitys that they have.....he only wants to sit on Grandma's lap! Isn't that what we're suppose to do......occupy the hoo-mans laps????? No matter what?
But, back to our trubbles.....do you really think it is fair that we've been banned from rollin' in the good smellin' stuff and that we may be banned from our training grounds for a few days????? I think that we should form a doxie strike! Our doxie rights are bein' violated!!!!

That is absolutely no fair at all! Your rights are certainly being violated!!!! But it sounds like everything is going to look real pretty when the men are all done with their work!!!

We can't even run the full length of our training ground today as we chase the monster mower since half of our "track" is on the edge of the garden that is blocked off! Harrruummmfffffppphhhh!

From Willy and Alex......we feel your pain. We have this corral that has some really, really good smelling and tasting thingys all over the ground. Mom keeps an eagle eye on us and there is no way we can even get near all those goodies, but we can still smell them and it drives us nuts! So we busy ourselves with finding little bits of suet the birds drop from the suet block.
But sounds like you guys are going to get a really nice backyard!
