Title: Emma and Bowen therapy
Post by: Roberta on October 20, 2005, 04:04:35 PM
Emma has had two visits to the lady for Bowen, the first was incredable, the second was not as dramatic so Nick and I were wondering if it was worth it. But yesterday when I took her to see Ray for her spinal muscle injections, and told him about the Bowen sessions he then gave her a exam and said her back was not spasming so in his opinion we should keep them up, as for once in Lord know how long she had improved.
So I would say any body with a wackle with stiff back etc try it, its non invasive and they seem to like it.

OK, call me dumb, but what is Bowen (besides my grandmother's maiden name)?  Is it a kind of PT or massage or something?   :dontknow:  Inquiring minds want to know.

I was going to ask what the Bowen therapy was, too?   Is it anything like the Tellington Touch that they used to do on informercials here?

Thanks, Roberta.  I have not heard of Bowen therapy before. Keep us posted on Emma's progress.
