Hi! My name is Jennifer Smith, and I just joined Wiener Writings today. I would like to introduce myself and my boys. I live near Youngstown, Ohio with my husband, Cale, and our 3 dogs. By day, I am an Assisant Prosecutor in the Criminal Divison of the Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office. By night, I am a huge dog lover with a real soft spot for rescues. We are the proud parents of Hemi, a 5-year old mixed breed brindle rescue, Cyrus, a 2-year old red and white Basenji, and Oscar, a 7-year old smooth red tweenie rescue. Sadly, we lost our fourth in March. Oscar (yes, also named Oscar) was a senior smooth black and tan rescue. He was only with us for a little less than a year, but he was such a loving soul and happy every day until the end. We were lucky to have him for the time that we did. I am looking forward to chatting on this forum with people who love dogs and dachshunds as much as I do. I think that I figured out how to post pictures in my albums, so I hope they are still there if anyone would like to see our boys.

Welcome aboard! I'm Sandi. Hubby Mark and I are owned by Madison (aka Madderoo) and Bonnie. Madison is 11 years old and is a plump black and tan (gray) mini and Bonnie is around 9 and is a black and tan mini. We rescued Bonnie about 6 months ago.

Welcome!! My name is Amorette and my husband and I are owned by a black, white, and tan piebald dachshund named Porky Pie. He's a naughty little fellow, but we love him to pieces!! He may even be naughtier than Parker. :wink:
