 As of 2 hours ago, we picked up Amy from Vet day care. Has not sunk in yet.
Ms Moo is chirper had a barkfest with a dog on a back of aute on the way home. So hopefully we will not be going back back to the vet. I asked if at the end of the fortnight if t was wise for a session of physio and they said it would not hurt.
To-morrow I am having a Robbie day and I am going to patchwork, the first solid time in the past month...............

Congratulations, Roberta. Welcome to the wonderful world of retirement. I have been retired seven years and have loved every minute of those seven years. Cannot wait to see another one of your quilts. Glad Amy has been released from the vet and sending her rays for a speedy recovery.

That is fantastic news Roberta!! Congrats, enjoy yourself and get some rest with the kids!!!
Thanks all, the time since Tuesday has flown. We checked with the vets to ask if she could go up in the car in her crate as normal to Bairnsdale as they had finnished our sheds and we had to tee up the fitting out. they said yes as long as she was in a crate and contained up here. Last night we slept her in her bed with a fence, and I think she slept better as during the night when we checked she was on her back snoring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. As the days go by she has got better and so has her vocabluary, we now call her the happy yapper, a sharp waff means I cannot see you and this afternoon she has taken up yodelling/howling/sinussing when she thinks she is alone.
We spent a few hours out on the verandah reading so she could get some fresh air and a diffrent view.

Ohhh just saw this pic if that doesn't break your heart! Too bad they can't understand tv or read a book or play games, something to be entertained more while recoupping. It sounds like Amy has developed a few more demand words for mum and dad during her incarceration! You go Amy girl! Anything to help you thru to the end of your stay...it won't be long now. I guess the good side Roberta is after the rough start to your retirement, when things do settle down you'll enjoy it even more! :thumb:
