Title: Send a few rays to Amy-update

Last night she woke us up and we ended up at the emergency vet, her back is inflamed so they have given her a morhine painkiller to ease it. All her signs are good  ie flipping foot etc. So we have to keep her in her play pen and watch her like a hawk for the next few days and take her back for a check up on Fri or sooner if she deteriorates. They did not want to go straight to a CT yet.
So a few rays would not go astray please

Nick stayed home with her she was quiet but a bit moany, when I got home and did the check on the legs she was a bit slow, so we hopped it fast back. The little pooper walked OK and the tests were fine. So they gave her another injection. So last night she slept better and we took her out at mid night and she poo'd and this morning she did a Niagara fall piddle and was wanting to go for a walk. I am staying home with her to-day and at present she is resting in her normal bed, she slept the night in her crate.

Rays on the way!  Poor Amy baby!  Hopefully it'll be OK with the rest and won't need anything else.  Let us know!

Not fair!  She's already been through this enough!!!!    :cussing:  Porky Pie and I are sending HUGE rays to sweet Amy.   We sure hope she's feeling better quick!     :comfort:

OH crap...so that is what the sore leg ended up being? I am so sorry Roberta I know how stressful this is for you. More so than for Amy I suspect! Please keep us posted on her, we're sending rays and prayers for all of you.

Oh Crap is right!  I SO HATE to hear this news about Wee Amy!!  Hugs, kisses and healing rays are on the way ten-fold!!
