Title: To go where no dachshund has gone
Post by: Marcia from MI on March 12, 2009, 06:36:52 AM
Well, Eddie has started pacing at night now, but has added sound effects.  As he paced the bed he whines - the closer he gets to me the louder the whine gets.  Really it is too funny.  However, now the tale is not so funny.  Eddie has started to crawl on top of me and push me as he paces - my dog is trying to force a takeover of the bed.  Yes, my sweet Eddie is trying to push me out of bed.  And not only the bed but also off the couch.  It is really too funny  for words.

Awwww Eddie...we need pictures...keep a camera in bed with you....hahaha!!  Sometimes it seems like my two keep pushing against me to get as close as possible...sometimes I think they want to crawl into my skin!!  Maybe Eddie just wants to be close to his momma??

Actually he does want my spot in bed.  He stands there whining in my ear.

Poor baby.  Camera in bed with you, that's what you need.  Then if anyone asks you can tell them it's for your furbaby?    I can imagine the expressions that would bring out.

I'm sorry Eddie is confused, but it does sound like you are able to laugh about it some.  It is cute him wanting so close to you and all.

ahhh, poor little Eddie. Maybe he just needs to be reassured that you are close by, and he's safe. Does a nice massage help him relax.

Oh Eddie your Mom always has great stories to tell! I'd love to see a video of this. Does he ever give up? How does the game end? He is too funny.  Looks like Mom may be sleeping on the floor if King Eddie makes it clear he wants the whole bed to himself!
