Title: Loki could use some tiny rays
Post by: Leslie on March 05, 2009, 06:22:26 AM
I can't quite put my finger on it--and mind you it has been 10 degrees every morning for the past three days--but I think her back is hurting.  Last night I went to shift her over on the sofa and she snarled.  The night before she wet the blanket on the sofa.  Both signs that maybe her back hurts.

Other than that, she is still her usually nutty nut dawg.  This morning I made an ex-pen circle for her next to her crate and she went right in.  I think the little pooper needs to rest.

I give Metacam every day because she has calcifications on her spine and she is ten years old.

So any spare rays would be appreciated.  I wish they could talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sending Loki some extra special healing rays.  :bandaid:   I hope she feels better soon.  It's so hard on us when our babies are not feeling good, so I know how you are feeling.  Remember to take care of yourself, too.

Thanks, all.  Yes, she certainly could be creaky due to age and weather--and really, who hasn't had THAT day???  (***t, I'm havin' that day TODAY.)

So I think I will put the heating pad on her for thirty minutes tonight.  I always surpervise!!!  and I put it on her with a blanket underneath.  There is no chance I could use my organic, brown rice filled heating pad as you-know-who will gnaw through that and eat all the filling in a nanosecond.

And the little pooper did get into the bedroom twice this week AND JUMP off the big bed!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone for all your support.

p.s.   Cliffie, man how are ya???????????

I hope Loki is doing better.  Sometimes they tweak themselves and need to take it easy for a couple of days, just like us humans.

Lots of tiny rays on the way for Loki.  At least she is smart enough to know when she should take it easy - heading into her x-pen is a great example.

Sending rays Loki's way.  Not sure how warm it got where you were, but it hit 71 degrees here today.  The Zs were in second heaven.
