I haven't posted sooner until Eddie showed more improvement. When Eddie suffered the stroke he could not move his head in any direction but to the right and he had to walk in circles until he got where he was going, I shouldn't laugh but it was funny. Now his neck has more mobility and except when he's tired he walks more normally. And as of this morning Eddie is back to using the ramp most of the time. He sleeps through the night, but still gets me up at 5:30.
We have been using newspaper and puppy pads because Eddie didn't want to go outside - too cold and too difficult to walk, but the weather is getting better so I see the next milestone on the horizen. One thing that hasn't changed is that he still has a good appetite.
Well that's it for now - my veggie pizza is ready and Eddie wants the matos from it.
Oh Marcia, this is such good news. The rays are really working. We are so happy that he is feeling better. Smoochies to your sweet boy.
Annie & the New Jersey Doxie Gang
That's great news!!! Hopefully the weather will warm up quickly now that March is here and Eddie can continue his progress.
Hooray for Eddie! You keep getting better, fella. You are one awesome senior wiener. BTW, my girls are fit as fiddles but would OBJECT something fierce if they had to go out in cold cold weather.
It's really good to hear that Eddie is on the road to recovery.
Since the Rays seem to be helping more Rays sent from Papbouv,Buddy & Patches hugs are always good too.
So glad to hear how well Eddie is doing. It's amazing how fast our furbabies can come back when they get sick. I'll keep sendng more rays your and Eddie's way. Do keep us posted how he does.

That is wonderful news! So glad to hear it!
WOO HOO - Excellent news for the Edster !!!!
:apls: It so nice to hear that Eddie is doing better!
EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headbang:
Thank goodness for that Dachsie stubborn streak, Eddie really has hung on in there this time round. Not to mention you, Marcia! Bless you both for your love and stamina, we´re thrilled you´re still with us and Eddie is awakening along with the Spring. Loads more warm, sunny Mediterranean rays heading your way to beef you both up for a better season ahead.
love

BTW: We have Zita, a 14 year old, originally red (now very white) long-haired standard lady staying here with us for 10 days whilst her Mum & Dad attend a christening at home in Norway. I´d forgotten how big a real big standard is and how greedy a pinching, thieving dachsie can be! Red and Islay don´t steal even it´s right in front of them - Zita pole vaults onto the kitchen work top to steal everything she can.....
Thank God I am so glad to hear this great news. Keep getting better Eddie.
Hugs and love laura and romeo
More rays and prayers on their way to Eddie.....keep getting better little buddy!!! We love you
