My hoomans have a very silly rule. When Zeke and I go out to do our business first thing in the morning, I always take care of my business and then come right back in. Silly Zeke likes to go sniff around the backyard...as if he could really catch something! The problem is that I have to wait until Zeke gets back in from his sniffing around until I am allowed to eat, as both of us are supposed to eat together.
Doesn't this sound like a silly rule to you? If I come in first, I should be able to eat first. Waiting those extra 2 to 3 minutes is an interminable delay. I need to eat NOW!
Dad here: Zora is just insufferable until Zeke comes back in. She'll rear up on her hind legs and "dig" at you until you get her food. On the rare occasions Zeke actually beats Zora back in, Zeke could care less.
ha ha!!! Sounds like my two. While Zuzu is still outside doin' the five meter mosey, Loki has raced inside and starts to hoot and hollar. :meme: Let Zuzu in, and she gets yelled at! Then to add insult to injury. I put Loki's food dish down and she gets the "Wait!" command. Then Zuzu's dish goes down and it's "Eat yer supper, sweetie." :grin:
