Title: Loki asks:
Post by: Leslie on October 17, 2005, 01:15:40 PM
WHY can't I run?
WHY can't I jump?
WHY can't I roll in bird poop?
WHY can't I dig?
WHY can't we goferaride?
WHY can't I eat kitty caca?
WHY can't I wrassle wiff Zuzu?
WHY do the hoomans take sooooooooo long to eat their dinner?  AND
WHY doesn't someone lift me into the big bed and feed me bits of chopped liver?

Mom here:  took the kidz out for a walkie and Loki starts digging a hole!  Unbelievable.  Not even a cookie will get her away from it.  Of course, Zuzu was interested in something else on the other leash. (I will be ssssssssssssssssssoooooooo glad when this fence gets in--at least I can leash Loki and leave Zuster to run.)  I had to drag/lift Loki away from that spot.  Yikes.  I'm terrified she will see the police kitty ( a black and white) that has been hunting and cr*****g in our yard and TAKE OFF!

Have reduced the anti-immflammitories to 50% dose.  Will see how it goes tommorrow when I am at work.  My guess is they will sleep most of the day.  Have blocked access to living room so they only have the hallway, kitchen and dining room to get wander around in.  Is that too much space ya think?

Glad she is feeling better !  I would have to say yes that is too much space.  Loki really needs to be in only a small area to give her plenty of time to heal.  I know it is hard to keep them penned up -

I am so glad little Loki is feeling better.  Even with an owie, she sounds like a handful

Okay--will move baby gate tommorrow so they only have the smallest space possible without locking them in the bathroom.

Leslie,

If at all possible Loki should be in a crate... if she is unable to be crated then perhaps a xpen or something like that would work?

 for a speedy recovery!
