I know I already told everyone I was pregnant again and the girls have been beside themselves over it. Gretchie has been more snuggly if that is possible - she was always a snuggle bug, just not with me. Cajsa is feeling grumpy although she insists on laying her head on my tummy and not letting Gretch near it. Elf is telling everyone that Baby Bean is a boy (although we don't know) and insisting on Baby being referred to as a "he" or 'his'.
We had an ultra sound this past week and everything is growing and developing as it should. The brain is has everything it should at this point and the heart/internal organs are all there and working like they should right now. The tech and the doctor both tried to check the sex of Baby without success. It seems as though Baby Bean is modest and kept the cord between the legs to prevent any 'unmentionables' from being spotted. David was a little bothered by it, but I just laughed. He wanted to know the sex more than I did. We are both glad the important stuff is fine so it's not really a big deal.

It´s so sweet the girls are all enjoying your pregnancy so much, you´ll have a great team there. It doesn´t seem 2 minutes since we were all awaiting the birth of "Elf"...good luck and good health!
It does seem a little odd in a way. Like it hasn't been that long since Elf was on the way, but she'll be 5 this year. Jessica C. was born about the time I got pregnant with Elf I think.
This is the first time we'll have a tiny baby in the house with TWO dachsies to watch over it. Cajsa would guard Elf from Gretch last time, but she wasn't living with us at the time so I'm interested in seeing what happens this time around.
That would be correct as Jessica turned 5 back in September. Hard to believe Elf is 5 now.
When we had Jessica, we didn't know the sex until she popped out. In life, there are few true surprises these days. We definitely wanted to be surprised. I can still remember as Jessica was being pulled from the birth canal my eyes being focused on the midsection to see what we had.
