Just wanted to jump in quick and say hello to everybody.. I hope you are all well and that the puppers are doing good.. The 11th was my last day at work, we started the home schooling for Katelyn on the 9th... It has just been so crazy around here!! I am having a harder time keeping up with everything now that I am schooling Katelyn, than I did when I was working all the time... I thought it would of been much easier than this.. But, we are enjoying the time together.. We had her MRI done on the 7th, everything came back normal, except her hemivertebrae (which we figured)... We are now looking at being 2 months from surgery, unless something opens sooner and we can go.. She was in her MRI for 1 1/2 hours, long enough to watch a movie.. She did well though.. I am going to send rays now to all who need them... Sending you all hugs & puppy kisses... We will try and get here more now that things are settling down into a routine a bit... We miss you all...
Tara...we have missed you too!!! Very much!!! We are still sending rays and saying prayers for Katelyn on her upcoming surgery. Take care, all of you. We are so glad you checked in....Hopefully things will get a bit calmer for you now.
Its so good to hear from you! We'll be praying for your family and Katelyn. Please keep us updated as often as you can.
Great to hear from you.... keeping good thoughts for all !
Ok, so I guess I wasn't able to check in more often.. My computer went to the hospital... lol :ambulance: Then it took me a while to be able to go pick it up ( 1 1/2 hours away), but we finally got it home... Everything is safe with it... Didn't lose any pics or anything important.. Thank goodness!! Just some minor things.. So, we are now back up & running... WooHoo!! Things are still busy around here.. Now I know why I didn't want to be a teacher.. lol Still in the process of getting the house ready for Katelyn after surgery, we are moving her upstairs into the computer room so she won't have to be carried up & down stairs... UGH!!! I just never realized I had so much junk trapped in this room... lol It's amazing what you find.. lol :dontknow: We hope you are all well.. And, this time we will check in more often.. :xfinger: Hugs & rays to all that need them.. Puppy kisses from EmmyLou to all her friends...
That's too bad about your computer problems! I'm glad you didn't lose anything important. Hopefully, life will settle down a little pretty soon, so you can check in more often. Porky misses stories about his Emmy Lou! Good luck getting the house ready for Katelyn's big surgery. As I said before, I'll be praying for you and your family.
Just a quick note: I homeschooled my four youngest children from 1994 to 2005, so if you have any questions, I'd be happy to help out.
Remember, homeschooling goes a lot quicker than school on a daily basis. Not having to wait to take your turn means an average school day WITH LUNCH AND RECESSES starts at 9 a.m and you finish by 2:15 to 2:30 p.m.
HAVE FUN!!
Karen
