I guess the easiest thing to do is just learn to love the sun.
I am loving it here, 80 degrees and sunny. I went to the Marketplace (flea market) the other day and bought a bunch of great stuff, will hit it again this Friday. On Sunday I will go to see my sister Barb for 4 days in Scottsdale. She has lots of shopping and eating out planned, AND she has a pool! Then I will come back to Yuma and my mom should be coming home from the re-hab hospital about then, and I will have another 6 days in Yuma.
My dad and I are getting into a routine. We fend for ourselves for breakfast and lunch, then I cook dinner. He is not into eating out. Today I gave him a haircut. We'll be going to see my mom shortly. She is improving by leaps and bounds every single day.
I know, that sun is just awful to get stuck in. Isn't is Patty? I'm glad you are having such a good time on your trip. The flea market sounds great! I hope you have a great time visiting your sister. That's great that your mom is improving so much. I'm sure it helps motivate her knowing that you are there.
Thanks for checking in. I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how your trip was going.
Great news about your mom !!! Glad you and dad are doing well too. Say hi to Barb... and poo on you for getting a suntan !!!! LOL - jk !
Sunny weather can be hard to take - I remember you said you wear shorts in AK at what would be unthinkable to me. It all depends on your perception.
Glad to hear your mom is doing so well. I am not sure my father, and me doing his haircut would have ever gone in the same sentence - lol!
What a good report! I'm so glad your Mom is doing well. Enjoy your sunshine.
Oh Patty, how you must be suffering with all that sunshine and warm temperature. Can you tell I am a bit jealous.
So glad you Mom is doing so well. I know having you there to help is making everything easier for both Mom and Dad.
Enjoy your visit with your Sister. Please swim a lap for me in her pool.
