Wez just got in our new partment and alweady wez all got da injuries. :rolleyes: On Sataday, da wind blew our door open just as mama was walking her sister out. It smacked her in da face hard nuff to gib her a fat lip and a bwuise on her cheek. :bandaid: Den a few hours later, daddy was carrying in da last box and he tripped UP da stairs. He got a bruised shin. :comfort:
Den TODAY...I gots my owie. :ambulance: Daddy went out to take some empty boxes to da 'cycling bin and da wind blew open da door again. Onwy my mama didn't hear it. So...beings da safety concious dog dat I am I decided to go out and secure da perwimeter. :wink: I walked across to da neighbor's door and took some sniifs. Dey smelled kinda funny. :dontknow: Mama sez its a cuz dey are two single men and don't gots a mama to clean up. Den since mama still didn't notice I decided to check out where daddy went. Well, I fought I could make it down dem stairs, but I tumbled down three steps! :ambulance: :bandaid: I didn't break anyfing, but Iz got a bump on my head. Mama called da vet right away to make sure I'd be okay.
I have learned my lesson about dem stairs. Wez jus hope da wind dies down so we don't hafta keep fightin to keep da dang door shut! Also, I been on high lert so I can't seep much yet. Da leaky faucet makes me have to go potty A LOT!!! Well...dats what I tell mama so I can 'splore da neighborhood. :thumb: Don't worry I'm neber going alone again!!!

Sounds like alls of youse had a RUFF day or two. Top priority, get that door fixed. We don't want Porky to pull a Madderoo and go on a grand adventure.
Poor Porky did your Mama put an Ice pack on your head you can share it with your Mama on her face and your Daddy on his shin that way each of you would get the recommended 15 minutes of time for an ice pack. Porky I know you wanted to help your Daddy but you better stay inside where it is safe no loose Dachshunds allowed its not safe.Hope your door gets fixed quick, and Porky will get use to all the new sounds he needs his bear.Good Luck

We have yet to meet da neighbors due to da high winds we been habing. Eberybody runs in dere house really quick. We did meet a lady and her two boys dat live downstairs. Dey are nice. Will provide more details when I can.

Iz gots two beds. One is my sleepy time bed and its in mama and daddy's bedroom. Dats da bed guarded by my Carlton bear. Den I gots a bed Jade gibbed me. It long and brown and comfy!!! She was too big for it already so she shared it wif me. It is in da libing room so I can watch wats going on in da kitchen, dining room, AND da hallway. :meme: I been a good boy and waiting for my mama to carry me up and down da stairs now.

Carlton got unpackeded before wez eben got to da new house. I made my mama hold him and me on da ride ober to our new house. :wink: Iz couldn't sweep da firstest night acuz I don't like my own bedroom at night time. Its scawy!! :crazyeyes:

Our door wasn't broken, wez just had wind gusts coming frough da balcony so hard dat it would pop it open. Wez leave it locked all da time now so it can't happen any more. Da wind was 65 mph gusts and higher on Saturday and Sunday. :crazyeyes:

Wez gots all our bumps and bwuises all bedda now. My bump wasn't dat big and went away yestaday. Mama's lip isn't big anymore eidder. I am doing bedda wif da new noises. It still scares da pee outta me when da water heater comes on. Its loud!
