Silly Guinness, don't you know that dachshunds melt if their paws touch snow?

Your pals -- the Zs

It was downright chilly yesterday about 5 degrees in the morning eventually "warming" to 22 degrees.   It was much warmer today -- about 38 degrees.

I actually thought about venturing into D.C. on Tuesday, but standing around for hours in 30 degree weather just doesn't appeal to me.

We have had snow everyday since before Christmas. Our driveway is more like a tunnel with 5 ft snow banks on each side. Parker has a little tunnel to do his business in.  The snow is half way up our windows now, so there is not much light coming in. Don't need the shades anymore. I sure hope it stops snowing soon.
